(1) From January 1st, 2015 came into force a new version of NUTS (NUTS 2013). At NUTS II level was just a name change in "Lisboa" which became known as "Área Metropolitana de Lisboa".

(3) Includes data from management entities of bulk services and/or retail services. INE made estimates in cases where data was not reported and /or disaggregated by municipalities.
Methodology: In the absence of responses, it was considered the distribution of the total water distributed by management entities, using as approximation the values of authorized consumption.
