Summary
In the period from January to December 2007, exports grew by 12.0% and imports by 7.8%, leading to an increase of 2.3% percentage points in the rate of coverage.In this period, the highest growths in imports were registered in Transport equipment and accessories (23.8%) and Food and beverages (22.9%). In contrast, in exports the major increases were recorded in Transport equipment and accessories (32.1%) and Capital goods (17.2%) and Food and beverages (17.1%). The group of Fuels and lubricants registered an increase in imports and a decline in exports.
