Summary
In the period from January to October 2007, exports grew by 13.3% and imports by 5.5%, leading to a decrease of 5.3% in the deficit of the trade balance with Third Countries, comparing to the same period in previous year.In this period, the highest growths in imports were registered in Food and beverages (23.8%) and Transport equipment and accessories (22.1%). In contrast, in exports the major increases were recorded in Transport equipment and accessories (35.9%) and Capital goods (23.6%). The group of Fuels and lubricants registered a decline in imports and in exports.
