(1) From January 1st, 2015 came into force a new version of NUTS (NUTS 2013). At NUTS II level was just a name change in "Lisboa" which became known as "Área Metropolitana de Lisboa".
The geographic location corresponds to the location of the educational institutions where students were enrolled.
(2) Only includes the diplomas of ISCED tertiary education which granted a graduation; excludes 'post-graduations diplomas'; '(Post-Bologna) Specialization Course - Master's diploma' and '(Post-Bologna) Specialization Course - Doctoral Diploma'.
