Note(s):
(1) The categorisation (and, consequently, the hazard weighting) of each active substance for the purpose of calculating harmonized risk indicators is updated annually by the European Commission, and changes of active substances between categories are applied to the entire data series, including the base year calculation period (average 2011-2013). The use of this methodology results in an annual review of the entire data series of HRI1 and HRI2 indicators.
