(1) From the 2004/2005 academic year onwards, the post-secondary non-tertiary education includes the specialized technological courses provided in tertiary education institutions, besides the ones provided in non-tertiary education institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.
(2) From January 1st, 2015 came into force a new version of NUTS (NUTS 2013). At NUTS II level was just a name change in "Lisboa" which became known as "Área Metropolitana de Lisboa".
