Note(s):
(1) From January 1st, 2015 came into force a new version of NUTS (NUTS 2013). At NUTS II level was just a name change in "Lisboa" which became known as "Área Metropolitana de Lisboa".
The geographic location corresponds to the location of the educational institutions where students were enrolled.
(2) Regarding adult oriented education/training modalities, the Adult Education and Training Courses began in the school year 2006/2007 and the processes of Recognition, Validation and Certification of Competences (RVCC) in 2008/2009.
