• NEWSPAPER:  Periodical publication aiming the general public with the main goal of being a primary source of written information on current events regarding public affairs, international issues, politics, society, economy, sports, among others, in paper or digital format.
• RESIDENT POPULATION:  The persons who regardless of the fact that at the moment of observation ' 0:00 a.m. of the reference day ' are present or absent in a given housing unit, this unit being where they live during most of the year with their family, or where they have all or most of their belongings.
• REFERENCE PERIOD:  Period to which the information refers and which may be a specific day or a time interval (month, fiscal year, calendar year, among others).
• LIFELONG LEARNING:  This includes all intentional learning activities undertaken during a person¿s life in formal, non-formal or informal contexts, with the purpose of acquiring, developing or improving knowledge, skills and competences from a personal, civic, social and/or occupational point of view.
