It is also qualified for preventing disease, health care teaching and scientific research.

OFFICIAL HOSPITAL: A hospital under the administrative supervision of the State, regardless of the ownership of the facilities. It can be: Public hospital ' under the supervision of the Ministry of Health or Regional Departments of Health, access to which is open to all; Military hospital ' under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence; Paramilitary hospital ' under the supervision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Prison hospital ' under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice.
