Principais eventos para o enquadramento da pandemia COVID-19 em Portugal Main events related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal A 2 de março de 2020 foram reportados os primeiros casos de COVID-19 em Portugal e o primeiro óbito a 16 de março de 2020. A OMS (OrganizaçãoMundial da Saúde) declarou o surto de COVID-19 como pandemia em11 demarço de 2020. A 19 de março foi declarado o primeiro período de estado de Emergência, que foi renovado a 3 e a 18 de abril. Entre 9 e 13 de abril (período da Páscoa) e entre 1 e 3 de maio, foi decretada a limitação de circulação entre municípios. A 3 de maio foi declarada a passagem para o estado de calamidade, ao qual se seguiram três fases de desconfinamento. A 1 de julho foi declarado o estado de alerta para a generalidade do país, o estado de contingência para a Área Metropolitana Lisboa e o estado de calamidade para 19 freguesias de cinco municípios da Área Metropolitana de Lisboa (AML). A 1 de agosto manteve-se o estado de alerta para a generalidade do país e foi declarado o estado de contingência para a AML. A 15 de setembro foi declarado o estado de contingência fixando regras específicas de organização do trabalho para as áreas metropolitanas. A 15 de outubro foi declarado o estado de calamidade para a generalidade do país, e entre os dias 30 de outubro e 3 de novembro foi decretada a limitação de circulação entre municípios. The WHO (World Health Organization) declared the outbreak of COVID-19 as a pandemic on March 11 th . On March 19 th , the first period of the state of emergency was declared in Portugal, which would be renewed on April 3 rd and April 18 th . Between 9 and 13 April (the Easter period) and 1 and 3May (Labour Day), it was decreed that circulation between municipalities would be limited. On May 3 rd , the state of calamity was declared, which was followed by three phases of deconfinement. On July 1 st , the state of alert was declared for most of the country, the state of contingency for the ÁreaMetropolitana de Lisboa and the state of calamity for 19 parishes of five municipalities in the Área Metropolitana de Lisboa (AML). On August 1 st , the state of alert for the whole country was maintained and the state of contingency was declared for the whole territory of AML. On September 15 th , it was declared a state of contingency throughout the country, establishing specific rules for the organisation of work for the metropolitan areas. On October15 th , the state of calamity was declared for the whole country, and between 30 October and 3 November, it was decreed the limitation of movement between municipalities.
