COOPSTAT NEWS Nº 17 11 O INE tem vindo a acolher estagiários, ao longo dos últimos anos, no âmbito do programa IPA (Instrumento de Assistência Pré-Adesão). Estes estágios são destinados a países do alargamento, visando possibilitar um conhecimento mais aprofundado e in loco acerca do funcionamento, procedimentos e normas do Sistema Estatístico Europeu (SEE). Esta experiência em contexto de trabalho visa harmonizar os sistemas estatísticos dos países candidatos e potenciais candidatos à UE com o sistema europeu, desse modo facilitando uma eventual integração. Entre 5 de setembro e 5 de dezembro de 2017 o INE acolheu uma estagiária, Mirela Deva, na área de Geoinformação, sob a orientação da colega Ana Santos. Ambas nos cederam os seus testemunhos, demonstrando quão gratificante esta experiência pode ser, a nível profissional e pessoal. O INE está atualmente a acolher um estagiário da Sérvia, na área de data warehouse. Esta experiência será partilhada na próxima edição da COOPSTAT. Estágios do Programa IPA IPA Traineeships Over the last years, Statistics Portugal has been a hosting institution to several traineeships within the IPA (Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance) Programme. These traineeships are intended for statisticians of enlargement countries willing to learn (on-site) the functioning, operational procedures and norms of the European Statistical System (ESS). This experience in the workplace aims to harmonise the candidate and potential candidate countries’ statistical systems with the European system, therefore facilitating a potential integration. Between 5 September and 5 December, Statistics Portugal welcomed one trainee, Ms. Mirela Deva, in the area of georeferencing. Our colleague Ana Santos was her mentor. Both colleagues have left us their testimonials, which have made clear how professionally and personally gratifying this experience can be. Statistics Portugal is currently hosting a trainee from Serbia in the area of data warehouse. This experience will be featured in the next issue of the newsletter.
