COOPSTAT NEWS Nº 17 12 União Europeia e Países do Alargamento European Union and Enlargement Countries Estágio de Mirela Deva | Mirela Deva’s Traineeship A Experiência da estagiária | The Trainee’s Experience Sinto-me honrada por ser uma das participantes a estagiar no INE de Portugal, no Serviço de Geoinformação, ao abrigo do Programa de cooperação IPA 2015 Multi-beneficiary. A minha experiência maravilhosa nesta prestigiada instituição decerto perdurará na minha memória. O que poderia ser melhor que uma cidade linda, luminosa e solarenga como Lisboa? Uma receção calorosa, comida deliciosa, pessoas gentis e amistosas por todo o lado! Foi deslumbrante! Em primeiro lugar, fiquei maravilhada com a receção calorosa com que fui presenteada desde o primeiro ao último dia, não apenas por parte dos colegas do meu Serviço, mas de todo o INE. Nunca esquecerei os lindos momentos que tivemos todos juntos na Unidade. A atmosfera acolhedora, a disponibilidade para me apoiarem e ajudarem com tudo fizeram-me sentir em casa. É com certeza absolutamente fantástico passar por um ambiente cultural e educacional diferente. É uma excelente oportunidade para aprofundar o nosso autoconhecimento e para melhor compreender aqueles que nos rodeiam – para melhorar o nosso conhecimento de culturas estrangeiras e para reforçar e promover as relações internacionais. I am honoured to be one of the participants to attend the traineeship at Statistics Portugal in the Geoinformation Unit within the framework of IPA 2015 Multi-beneficiary Statistical Cooperation Programme. My wonderful experience in this prestigious institution will certainly last long in my memory. What could be better than a beautiful, bright and sunny city like Lisbon? A warm welcome, delicious food, nice and friendly people everywhere! That was stunning! First of all, I was delighted with the warm welcome from the very first day to the last one, not only from the Unit colleagues but from everyone in INE. I will never forget the beautiful moments we had all together in the Unit with the Colleagues. The warm atmosphere, the availability to support and help me out with everything, made me feel like home. Obviously, it is absolutely gorgeous going through a different cultural and educational background, it is a very good example to enhance a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you – to advance your knowledge of foreign cultures and to strengthen and promote international relationships.
