COOPSTAT NEWS Nº 17 14 Sob a supervisão da equipa, o estágio foi muito estimulante e útil para o meu trabalho futuro em novas e diferentes áreas da análise de indicadores territoriais de acessibilidade, através da avaliação de várias ferramentas de geoprocessamento. Este estágio melhorou e alargou o meu conhecimento, compreensão e competências técnicas em algumas novas funcionalidades das Service Areas, GOOGLE APIs, software GIS e outros. Para além disto, foi muito interessante: aprender as diversas atividades do Serviço de Geoinformação, bem como o seu importante papel no INE; observar a nível prático a organização do seu trabalho, os aspetos metodológicos; perceber como a Infraestrutura de Dados Espaciais apoia as atividades do INE; e, em suma, adquirir uma nova experiência ao trabalhar num contexto profissional diferente. Gostaria tambémde agradecer a todos os restantes colegas do Serviço: M. Fátima Martins, João Rosão, Luis Garcia; Guilherme Graça, António, Isabel e a todos aqueles com os quais não trabalhei diretamente, mas que mesmo assim ajudaram a criar um ambiente de trabalho acolhedor, com a sua gentil hospitalidade. Esta experiência excedeu as minhas expetativas, tanto a nível profissional como pessoal. Outra inovação que experienciei durante o meu estágio foram as aulas de Yoga no Grupo Desportivo do INE: uma prática muito útil e um bom exemplo a ser adotado pela minha Instituição. Neste contexto, gostaria de aproveitar esta oportunidade para agradecer à Tucha, uma pessoa maravilhosa que me faz sentir muito honrada por ter tido o prazer de a conhecer. Desejo-lhe tudo de bom. Fazer parte deste estágio foi uma grande oportunidade para mim, que me permitiu trabalhar num ambiente profissional internacional. Eu vou certamente recomendar este programa a todos os meus colegas. Mirela (dezembro de 2017) Under their supervision, the traineeship was so exciting and useful for my future work in new and different areas of analysing the Territorial Accessibility Indicators through the assessment of several geoprocessing tools. This traineeship has improved my understanding and extended myknowledgeandtechnical skills insomenewfunctionality of Service Areas, GOOGLE APIs, GIS applications software and others. Besides, it was very interesting to learn about the several activities of the Geoinformation Unit and their important role within INE Portugal, to see concretely their organization of the work, methodological aspects, how the Spatial Data Infrastructure supports the activities of Statistics Portugal gathering a new experience in working in a different environment. I would like to thank also, all the other colleagues of Unit, M. Fátima Martins, João Rosão, Luis Garcia; Guilherme Graca; Antonio, Isabel and all the others with who even though I did not work directly, they created a warm working environment with their kind hospitality. This experience exceeded my expectations both in the professional and the personal point of view. Another innovation to experience during my traineeship was attending the YOGA classes in GDINE [Statistics Portugal Sporting and Cultural Group] activities in INE, a very useful practice and a good example to follow and be adopted by my Institution. In this content, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tucha, a wonderful person that I am really honoured to know personally, and to wish her all the best in her life. Being part of this traineeship was a great chance for me to work in an international professional environment and for sure I will certainly recommend this program to all my colleagues.
