COOPSTAT NEWS Nº 17 16 A Equipa da GEO O tempo passou rapidamente e no final a despedida não foi fácil. Com a promessa de regressar a Portugal, a Mirela levou e deixou boas recordações. Para além da realização das ações previstas nos termos de referência, a expetativa do GEO nestas iniciativas é a possibilidade dos formandos adquirirem conhecimento sobre as boas práticas e projetos que o INE desenvolve no domínio da geoinformação. É assim, com expectativa, que a equipa do GEOdeseja que aMirela tenha a oportunidade de por em prática o conhecimento adquirido, auxiliando o INSTAT na evolução das metodologias de integração da informação geográfica e estatística no processo de produção das estatísticas oficiais da Albânia. Time went by very quickly and, at the end of Mirela’s traineeship, it was hard to say goodbye. Mirela took and left good memories, with the promise of one day returning to Portugal. Apart from the fulfilment of the activities foreseen in the traineeship terms of reference, the GEO Unit expects to be able to provide the trainees with knowledge over the good practices and projects that Statistics Portugal is developing in the geospatial domain. Thus, the Unit eagerly waits for Mirela to have the opportunity to implement the acquired knowledge, helping INSTAT in the development of integration methodologies of statistical and geographic information, within the official statistics production process in Albania.
