COOPSTAT NEWS Nº 17 8 Programa de Capacitação dos Sistemas Estatísticos Nacionais dos PALOP e Timor-Leste (2016/2018) Training Programme for the National Statistical Systems of the Portuguese-speaking African countries and Timor-Leste (2016/2018) De dezembro de 2017 a abril de 2018, realizaram-se três ações de cooperação no âmbito do Programa de Capacitação Estatística da CPLP (uma das quais referidas na secção “Em Foco”). Este conjunto de ações concluiu o Programa de Capacitação em vigor, estando atualmente em fase de instrução umnovo Programa, mais abrangente, que terá como grandes inovações: a criação de um Projeto específico para a capacitação da área dos ODS, o investimento na componente formativa e a aposta na Cooperação Sul-Sul. From December 2017 to April 2018, three cooperation activities were held within the CPLP Training Programme (one of which already referred in the “Highlights” section). This set of activities concluded the 1st training programme and a second capacity-building programme is currently being prepared. The new edition of the programme will broaden the scope of the previous one, with major innovations: the creation of a specific SDG capacity- building project, an emphasis on the training component and the enforcement of South-South cooperation. Entre 4 e 6 de dezembro realizou-se na sede do INE a primeira atividade formativa no âmbito da monitorização dos ODS. A OIT-Lisboa dinamizou a realização de um Workshop de Formação em Indicadores ODS, com um foco particular em indicadores na área das estatísticas do mercado de trabalho (área de intervenção da OIT). Este evento reuniu participantes de todos os países da CPLP, que se fizeram representar por técnicos de autoridades nacionais responsáveis pela produção de estatísticas necessárias à monitorização dos ODS neste domínio (INEs e gabinetes de estatística dos Ministérios do Trabalho). Between 4 and 6 December, the first SDG-related statistical training activity was held in Statistics Portugal headquarters. ILO-Lisbon promoted a training Workshop on SDG Indicators, which focused particularly on indicators within the scope of labour market statistics (ILO’s area of expertise). This event gathered participants from all CPLP countries, represented by staff from the national bodies responsible for producing statistics necessary for SDG monitoring in this field (NSIs and statistical departments within the Ministries of Labour).
