COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 18 16 The study visit on National Accounts focused on Annual National Accounts. The experts from Statistics Portugal supported the colleagues from NSI-STP, sharing a set of recommendations which took into account several changes taking place in the NSS of STP (plans for the implementation of a Business Census, results of the 2017 Household Budget Survey, among others). This visit was led by the National Accounts Department of Statistics Portugal, namely by the Annual National Accounts Unit. Os participantes da visita de Contas Nacionais e a Diretora-Geral do INE-STP| The participants of the visit on National Accounts with the Director General of NSI STP No dia 16 de outubro, a Diretora-Geral do INE-STP, e Vice- Presidente do Conselho Nacional de Estatística (CNE), Elsa Cardoso, participou a título de observadora na 50ª sessão da Secção Permanente de Coordenação Estatística (SPCE) do CSE, em Lisboa. Nesta ocasião foi efetuado o balanço das 50 sessões já realizadas pela SPCE, bem como da Cooperação Estatística do INE com os países lusófonos. Para além de possibilitar a análise, in loco, do modo de funcionamento do CSE, a sessão promoveu o contacto entre a Vice-Presidente do CNE-STP e os órgãos representados nesta Secção de Coordenação (tais como entidades com delegação de competências, Banco de Portugal, autoridades estatísticas das Regiões Autónomas dos Açores e da Madeira). Esta interação permitiu que fossem exploradas áreas de cooperação potencial entre STP e cada uma destas entidades, bem como o reforço dos laços de cooperação entre os sistemas estatísticos dos dois países. On 16 October, the Director-General of NSI-STP, and Vice-President of the National Statistical Council (CNE), participated as observer at the 50th meeting of the Permanent Section of Statistical Coordination of the Statistical Council, in Lisbon. On this occasion an overview was made regarding the 50 meetings already held by this Permanent Section and also on the cooperation of Statistics Portugal with Portuguese-speaking Countries. In addition to providing on-site analysis of the functioning of the Statistical Council, the session promoted the contact between the Vice-President of the CNE-STP and the bodies represented in this Coordination Section (such as other national statistical authorities, the Portuguese Central Bank, statistical authorities from the Autonomous Regions of Azores and Madeira). This interaction enabled exploring areas of potential cooperation between STP and each of these entities, as well as strengthening the cooperation ties between the statistical systems of both countries.
