COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 19 16 Estoumuito agradecida por ter tido a Sónia comomentora, coma qual o trabalho foi agradável emotivante. A Sónia foi uma ótima mentora, que esteve sempre pronta a partilhar conhecimentos comigo de forma interessante e criativa. Não apenas gostei de trabalhar com ela, mas também adorei o tempo livre que passámos juntas. Participar nas atividades do GDINE tornou a minha estadia no INE ainda mais especial. Fui a aulas de ioga e de guitarra e ainda pude fazer parte da amistosa e forte equipa de voleibol. O período de cinco meses no INE foi o ideal não apenas para conhecer, em sentido lato, o sistema de data warehouse , mas também para me familiarizar com detalhes específicos e formas de implementação. Para todos os que estiverem interessados neste tópico, recomendo vivamente este programa. Tenho a certeza de que as competências que aprimorei durante o estágio vão ser bastante úteis no trabalho futuro que irei desenvolver com os meus colegas e que hei de contribuir para a equipa com o conhecimento e experiência que adquiri aqui. Um grande obrigada e um abraço para todos os que fizeram parte da minha inspiradora história portuguesa. Jelena I am thankful that I had the opportunity to have Sónia as mentor, with whom the work was pleasant and motivating. She was a great mentor who was always willing to share knowledge with me in creative and interesting ways. Besides the work with her, I also enjoyed the free time we were spending together. Taking part in the GDINE (Sporting and Cultural Group) activities made my stay at Statistics Portugal even more special. I was attending the yoga and guitar classes and being a part of the very powerful and supportive volleyball team. The five months I’ve spent at Statistics Portugal was the optimal period for gaining not only the bigger picture of the data warehouse system, but also for being familiar with specific details and ways of implementations. For everyone who is interested in this topic, I highly recommend the program. I am sure that the skills that I improved during the traineeship period will be helpful in the future work with my colleagues and that I will contribute to the team with the knowledge and experiences that I gained here.
