COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 19 4 Nota Introdutória Introductory Note A presente edição da COOPSTAT NEWS refere-se ao conjunto de ações de cooperação realizadas entre janeiro e julho de 2019. Incluem-se neste número do periódico várias ações na área de Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável, cooperação com países lusófonos e cooperação no quadro europeu. Na área dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável, é destacado o lançamento, pelo INE, da 2ª publicação de acompanhamento estatístico da Agenda 2030, a nível nacional. No quadro da cooperação com países lusófonos merecem destaque múltiplas ações de caráter bilateral com Angola, Cabo Verde e Moçambique, nas áreas de Inquérito ao Emprego, Ficheiro de Unidades Estatísticas e índice de Preços no Consumidor, respetivamente. No plano multilateral, merece particular destaque a participação do INE na VIII Conferência Estatística da CPLP, acolhida pelo INE da Guiné Equatorial, em Malabo. No quadro da cooperação europeia, são referidas ações com países da União Europeia, países do Alargamento e países abrangidos pela Política Europeia de Vizinhança (PEV), sublinhando-se o acolhimento de: reuniões enquadradas pelo Sistema Estatístico Europeu (3ª Reunião do Vision Implementation Network [VIN] e Reunião da ESSnet sobre Big Data ), visita de trabalho do INE-Azerbaijão ao abrigo da PEV e acolhimento de uma estagiária da Sérvia no contexto do Programa IPA ( Instrument of Pre-Accession ). Ainda neste âmbito, é referida a participação do INE em Workshops destinados a países da UE e a países do Alargamento. The present edition of COOPSTAT NEWS covers the cooperation activities held between January and July, 2019. Several activities, in the areas of Sustainable Development Goals, cooperation with Portuguese- speaking countries and cooperation within the European framework, are included in the newsletter. In the area of Sustainable Development Goals, this issue highlights the 2nd publication on the statistical follow- up of the 2030 Agenda, at national level, launched by Statistics Portugal in June. In the context of cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries, several bilateral activities were held with Angola, Cabo Verde and Mozambique, covering the areas of Labour Force Survey, Business Registers and Consumer Price Index, respectively. At multilateral level, a special reference is made to Statistics Portugal participation in the VIII CPLP Statistical Conference, hosted by the National Statistical Institute (NSI) from Equatorial Guinea, in Malabo. In the framework of European cooperation, reference is made to activities for European Union countries, Enlargement countries and countries covered by the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP), namely: European Statistical System meetings (3rd VIN meeting and a meeting of the Big Data ESSnet), a study visit from the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan, the traineeship within the IPA (Instrument of Pre-Accession) Programme and participations in Workshops destined to EU and Enlargement countries.
