COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 20 4 Nota Introdutória Introductory Note A presente edição da COOPSTAT NEWS refere-se ao conjunto de ações de cooperação realizadas entre agosto de 2019 e fevereiro de 2020. Incluem-se neste número várias ações de cooperação com países lusófonos, bem como no quadro europeu e com países terceiros. No quadro da cooperação com países lusófonos merecem destaque ações de caráter bilateral com Angola, Brasil, Cabo Verde e S. Tomé e Príncipe. Realizaram-se neste âmbito atividades nas áreas de Dados Administrativos, Difusão e Planeamento, Censos, Indicadores de curto- prazo e Informática, merecendo ainda destaque uma peer review ao INE de Cabo Verde. No quadro europeu, sublinha-se a participação num Workshop sobre Dados Administrativos e a realização de ações de cooperação comos INEs da Estónia e de Espanha. No contexto de cooperação compaíses terceiros é referida a realização de uma reunião com a Diretora-Geral Adjunta do INE do Laos, na sede do INE. This issue of COOPSTAT covers the cooperation activities held between August of 2019 and February of 2020. Throughout this period the majority of cooperation activities were implemented in the context of capacity building initiatives targeted at Portuguese-speaking Countries and European cooperation between ESS Member States. In the context of cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries, a special reference is made to bilateral activities with Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde and S. Tome and Principe. Several activities were carried out in the areas of Administrative Data, Dissemination, Statistical Planning, Short-term indicators, IT and also a peer review to NSI Cabo Verde. In the framework of European cooperation, the participation in an Administrative Data Workshop is highlighted as well as cooperation activities with the Estonian and Spanish NSIs. In the context of cooperation with third countries, a meeting was held with the Deputy Director-General of INE Laos, at Statistics Portugal headquarters. Nota Introdutória Introductory Note
