COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 21 6 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries Destaca-se o apoio expressivo à continuidade da cooperação e ao relançamento do Programa Estatístico da CPLP em 2022, em moldes a definir oportunamente. De relevar também o interesse manifestado na intensificação da cooperação em matéria de Censos da População e Habitação, tendo-se equacionado a realização, a breve trecho, de um seminário de troca de experiências com o contributo das equipas técnicas de cada instituição. Deliberou-se ainda sobre a organização da próxima Conferência Estatística da CPLP, confirmando- se a disponibilidade do INE da Guiné-Bissau para acolher o evento, naturalmente condicionada à evolução da situação pandémica. No próximo encontro informal, tentativamente previsto para abril de 2022, serão acordados os moldes definitivos da Conferência e será dada continuidade à discussão sobre matérias de interesse comum. Special reference is due to the strong support for the continuity of cooperation and to relaunching the CPLP Statistical Programme in 2022, in a way to be defined in due course. Also noteworthy is the interest shown in intensifying cooperation on population and housing censuses. In this regard, a virtual seminar on Census is being considered in the short term, to exchange experiences, including the contribution of the technical teams from each institution. As for the organization of the next CPLP Statistical Conference, the NSI from Guinea-Bissau confirmed its availability to host the event, depending, of course, on the evolution of the pandemic situation. At the forthcoming informal meeting, tentatively scheduled for April 2022, the final organisational aspects of the Conference will be agreed upon and the discussion on matters of common interest will continue.
