COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 23 16 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries Visita da Diretora Executiva Substituta do IBGE ao INE I Visit from the Deputy Executive Director of the Brazilian NSI to Statistics Portugal A 8 de novembro, o INE acolheu a Diretora Executiva Substituta do IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística), Rose Mary Rodrigues, para um breve encontro sobre planeamento, custeio e políticas institucionais. Nesta reunião, o INE fez-se representar pelo Departamento de Administração Financeira e Patrimonial (Paulo Henriques, Diretor-Adjunto) e pelos Serviços de Planeamento e Controlo de Qualidade (Magda Ribeiro, Diretora), Jurídico e Contencioso (Teresa Martins, Diretora) e Relações Externas e Cooperação (Conceição Veiga, Diretora, e Carolina Fresta Santos, perita), que apresentaram a experiência da instituição, em particular no âmbito do custeio e gestão financeira dos Censos 2021 , e nas políticas e procedimentos em vigor para a gestão de risco e conduta ética e financeira (informação sobre Políticas e enquadramento institucional, aqui). Neste encontro foi ainda partilhada a experiência do IBGE com a gestão de recursos humanos e financeiros no contexto do Censo 2022, atualmente na fase final do respetivo processo de recolha. Esta troca de experiências foi bastante gratificante para as duas instituições que, mais uma vez, beneficiaram da partilha de boas práticas, desafios e oportunidades e reafirmaram os respetivos laços de cooperação. On 8 November, Statistics Portugal welcomed the Deputy Executive Director of the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Statistics and Geography), Ms. Rose Mary Rodrigues, for a brief meeting on planning, financial management and institutional policies. At this meeting, Statistics Portugal was represented by the Financial and Patrimonial Management Department (Mr. Paulo Henriques, Deputy Director) and by the Units of Planning and Quality Control (Ms. Magda Ribeiro, Head of Unit), Legal Affairs (Ms. Teresa Martins, Head of Unit) and External Relations and Cooperation (Ms. Conceição Veiga, Head of Unit, and Ms. Carolina Fresta Santos, expert), who presented the institution’s experience, particularly in the context of the funding and financial management of the 2021 Census, and the policies and procedures in force for risk management and ethical and financial conduct (information on Policies and institutional framework, here). This meeting was also marked by the sharing of IBGE’s experience with the management of human and financial resources in the context of the 2022 Census, currently in the final phase of its data collection process. This exchange of experiences was very rewarding for both institutions which, once again, benefited from the sharing of good practices, challenges and opportunities and reaffirmed their respective ties of cooperation.
