COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 25 17 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries A delegação cabo-verdiana foi composta pelo VicePresidente do INE-CV, Fernando Rocha, pela líder de projeto, Elga Tavares, pelo perito informático, Marcos Gonçalves, e pelo consultor, Miguel Sousa, e foi acolhida pela Coordenadora do Gabinete de Censos do INE-PT, Paula Paulino, e pela Diretora do Serviço de Relações Externas e Cooperação, Conceição Veiga. Neste encontro, foi possível partilhar experiências e trocar informação sobre iniciativas em curso e boas práticas a nível internacional para mapeamento de população emigrante. Foi dado destaque à informação disponível sobre a população cabo-verdiana em Portugal, com base nos dados da última operação censitária, de 2021. Foi ainda partilhada documentação relevante, tal como a publicação “O que nos dizem os censos sobre a população estrangeira” e reiterada a disponibilidade do INE-PT em colaborar com o seu homólogo cabo-verdiano, através do levantamento de dados relevantes para este projeto. O INE-PT desejou ao seu congénere cabo-verdiano os maiores sucessos no desenvolvimento e implementação deste projeto pioneiro a nível mundial. The Cape Verdean delegation was composed of the VicePresident of NSI-CV, Fernando Rocha, the project leader, Elga Tavares, the IT expert, Marcos Gonçalves, and the consultant, Miguel Sousa, and was welcomed by the Coordinator of the Census Office of NSI-PT, Paula Paulino, and the Head of the External Relations and Cooperation Unit, Conceição Veiga. At this meeting, it was possible to share experiences and exchange information about ongoing initiatives and good practices at international level for mapping the emigrant population. Emphasis was placed on the information available on the Cape Verdean population in Portugal, based on data from the last census operation, of 2021. Relevant documentation was also shared, such as the publication “What do the 2021 Census tell us about the foreign population” (PT only) and NSI-PT highlighted the willingness to collaborate with its Cape Verdean counterpart, by sharing the relevant available data for this project. Statistics Portugal wished its Cape Verdean counterpart every success in developing and implementing this pioneering project. Reunião virtual com o INE de Cabo Verde sobre a Classificação de Atividades Económicas (CAE) Virtual meeting with NSI Cabo Verde on the Classification of Economic Activities (NACE) A 20 de maio, foi promovida uma reunião entre o INE de Cabo Verde e o INE de Portugal, para apoio à equipa cabo-verdiana no processo de revisão da Classificação de Atividades Económicas, atendendo às últimas revisões internacionais desta nomenclatura. O INE-PT, representado pelas peritas do Serviço de Infraestrutura Informacional, Arminda Brites e Maria Cristina Brito, partilhou com o seu congénere os principais desenvolvimentos internacionais nesta matéria, bem como alguma documentação relevante quanto ao processo de apropriação/adaptação nacional desta classificação, tais como tabelas de equivalências e legislação da UE relevante neste domínio. On May 20, a meeting was held between NSI Cabo Verde and Statistics Portugal to support the Cape Verdean team in the process of revising the Classification of Economic Activities (NACE), given the latest international revisions of this nomenclature. Statistics Portugal, represented by the experts of the Information Infrastructure Unit, Arminda Brites and Maria Cristina Brito, shared with its counterpart the main international developments in this domain, as well as some relevant documentation regarding the process of national appropriation/adaptation of this classification, such as equivalence tables and relevant EU legislation in this field.
