The visit was attended by Nguabi Tiny Trindade, Head of Department of the Directorate of Census and Demographic and Social Statistics of NSI-STP,and welcomed by Ana Santos (Head of Unit) and Bartholomeus Schoenmakers (expert) of the GeoinformationUnitofNSI-PTwhomaderecommendations regarding the conclusion of the cartographic preparation process associated with the Census. The visit also allowed for the definition of subsequent technical assistance activities on geoinformation, to take place after the implementation of the Census. No âmbito da preparação para o V Recenseamento Geral da População e Habitação 2024 de São Tomé e Príncipe, o INE de Portugal acolheu nos dias 18 e 19 de junho de 2024, uma visita de trabalho na área de Geoinformação, visando apoiar o INE-STP na dimensão de cartografia censitária. Participou neste encontro o Chefe de Departamento da Direção de Recenseamento e Estatísticas Demográficas e Sociais, Nguabi Tiny Trindade, que beneficiou do acolhimento do Serviço de Geoinformação do INE-PT, Ana Santos (Diretora) e Bartholomeus Schoenmakers (perito) e das respetivas recomendações para ultimar o processo de preparação cartográfica associado ao Censo. A visita permitiu ainda a definição de atividades subsequentes de assistência técnica na área de geoinformação, a terem lugar após a implementação do Recenseamento.
