COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 25 23 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries Encontro com delegação da Turquia sobre indicadores de proteção social Meeting with Turkish delegation on social protection indicators A 26 de junho, o INE de Portugal acolheu uma delegação turca, tendo em vista partilhar a sua experiência com o sistema de indicadores de proteção social produzido no âmbito do Sistema Estatístico Europeu (SEEPROS). Do lado do INE, o Serviço de Estatísticas de Condições de Vida, representado pela Diretora, Eduarda Góis, e pelas peritas Sofia Fortunato e Dilar Leote, partilhou as principais características deste sistema de monitorização, com destaque para os regimes abrangidos e funções de proteção social (doença, velhice, sobrevivência, incapacidade, família, desemprego, habitação e exclusão social). Os visitantes, provenientes de instituições responsáveis pela dimensão da implementação, expressaram o seu agradecimento pelos esclarecimentos prestados em matéria de monitorização e acompanhamento estatístico desta importante temática. On June 26, Statistics Portugal welcomed a Turkish delegation to share its experience with the system of social protection indicators produced under the European Statistical System (ESSPROS). On the side of Statistics Portugal, the Living Conditions Statistics Unit, represented by the Director, Eduarda Góis, and by the experts Sofia Fortunato and Dilar Leote shared the main features of this monitoring system, with emphasis on the schemes covered and social protection functions (illness, old age, survivorship, disability, family, unemployment, housing, and social exclusion). The visitors, coming from institutions responsible for the implementation dimension, expressed their gratitude for the clarifications provided regarding monitoring and statistical follow-up of this important topic.
