COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 25 25 Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries Em curso On-going activities Task Team on Communication of Statistics for SDGSs O INE copreside, com o INE da Polónia, à Task Team on Communication of Statistics for SDGSs (TTCOM), criada pelo Steering Group on Statistics for SDGs da UNECE. Este grupo destina-se a promover e facilitar o acompanhamento estatístico da Agenda 2030 através de atividades, materiais e ferramentas de comunicação adequados e inovadores. A composição do grupo ultrapassa largamente os limites da UNECE, com membros de vários grupos regionais (Europa, África, América do Norte, e América do Sul) e representantes de INEs, organizações internacionais e outros fornecedores de dados. Statistics Portugal and Statistics Poland co-chair the Task Team on Communication of Statistics for SDGSs (TTCOM), created by the UNECE Steering Group on Statistics for SDGs. This group aims to promote and facilitate the statistical monitoring and of the 2030 Agenda through appropriate and innovative communication activities, materials and tools. The team goes far beyond the boundaries of the UNECE, with members from various regional groups (Europe, Africa, North and South America) and representatives from NSOs, international organisations and other data providers. Destaca-se, neste contexto, a iniciativa Communication Fortnights, através da qual são promovidas conversas quinzenais sobre práticas inovadoras em matéria de comunicação estatística dos ODS. Em 2024 realizaramse quatro encontros sobre temáticas priorizadas pelos membros (produtos temáticos sobre ODS, plataformas nacionais de reporte e desinformação). As apresentações e sumários destes encontros são publicamente disponibilizados na página de Comunicação do UNECE SDG Knowledge Hub. A Task team continuará a promover os seus encontros inovadores, abertos a todos os interessados, com vista a «progredir na comunicação dos progressos em prol dos ODS». In this context, the Communication Fortnights initiative stands out. The Fortnights are biweekly conversations on innovative practices in the field of statistical communication of the SDGs. In 2024, four meetings were held on topics prioritized by the members (thematic products on SDGs, national reporting platforms and disinformation). The presentations and summaries of these meetings are publicly available on the UNECE SDG Knowledge Hub’s Communication page. The Task team will continue to promote its innovative meetings, open to all interested stakeholders, with a view to “making progress in communicating progress towards the SDGs”.
