Cooperação com os Países de Língua Portuguesa Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking Countries COOPSTAT NEWS N.º 26 5 Bem-vindos à nova edição da COOPSTAT! Este número refere-se ao conjunto de ações de cooperação internacional realizadas entre agosto e dezembro de 2024. São referidas várias ações bilaterais, bem como multilaterais, em particular desenvolvidas no âmbito do Programa Estatístico da Comunidade de Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP), com especial destaque para a X Conferência Estatística da CPLP, realizada na cidade da Praia, Cabo Verde, sob o tema: “Uso das TIC e da Inteligência Artificial na Produção de Estatísticas de Qualidade”. É também dado destaque à cooperação no quadro europeu, no âmbito do Programa de Formação ESTP. No âmbito da implementação do Programa Estatístico da CPLP, a assistência remota foi essencial, em complemento das ações presenciais realizadas. Destacam-se as ações realizadas nos projetos de Coordenação Estatística, de Geoinformação, e de Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS). A nível bilateral, destacam-se as atividades de cooperação com o INE de Cabo Verde, com diversas ações nas áreas da modernização e utilização de dados administrativos para fins estatísticos, bem como na Gestão da Qualidade, na Gestão de Dados (na área da recolha e tratamento de dados: administrativos e inquéritos) e no âmbito da Central de Balanço. No quadro europeu, dá-se destaque à coorganização, pelo INE de Portugal e pelo Eurostat, de um curso introdutório à Gestão da Qualidade em Estatística, no âmbito do Programa Europeu de Formação em Estatística (ESTP). Welcome to the new edition of COOPSTAT! This issue refers to international cooperation actions carried out between August and December 2024. Several bilateral actions, as well as multilateral actions carried out within the framework of the Statistical Programme of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) are mentioned, with special emphasis on the 10th CPLP Statistical Conference, held in Praia, Cape Verde, under the topic: “Use of ICT and Artificial Intelligence in the Production of Quality Statistics”. Emphasis is also placed on cooperation within the European framework, under the ESTP Training programme. Within the implementation of the CPLP Statistical Programme, remote assistance was essential, complementing the in-person activities carried out. The actions implemented under the projects of Statistical Coordination, Geoinformation, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) stand out. At the bilateral level, cooperation activities with the National Statistical Institute (NSI) of Cabo Verde are noteworthy. There were several actions in the areas of modernisation and use of administrative data for statistical purposes, Quality Management, Data Management (in data collection and processing: administrative and surveys) and within the scope of the Central Balance Sheet. In the European context, emphasis is placed on the coorganisation, by Statistics Portugal and Eurostat, of an introductory course on Quality Management in Statistics, within the scope of the European Statistics Training Programme (ESTP).
