O número de dirigentes agrícolas com forma de exploração por conta própria decresceu, entre 2009 e 2016, a um ritmo anual (-2,4%) menos intenso que a população agrícola (-3,3%). Em consequência, a proporção dos dirigentes por conta própria face ao total da população agrícola aumentou. Em2016,38,7%dapopulaçãoagrícolaeraproprietária, sendo 26,8%homens e 11,9%mulheres, quando em 2009 essa proporção era de 36,2% e a distribuição entre homens e mulheres era de, respetivamente, 25,5% e 10,7%. The indicator “5.a.1.(b) Share of women among owners or rights-bearers of agricultural land, by type of tenure” is evaluated nationally by the proxy indicator “Proportion of women in total managers with owner farming type of tenure”. The proportion of women in total number of managers with owner farming type of tenure increased from 29.7% in 2009 to 30.7% in 2016. This evolution is mainly explained by the higher decrease in the number of managers with owner farming type of tenure (-15.4%) when compared with the decrease of the women managers with this type of tenure in this period (-12.6%).
