| 149 A análise dos resultados da avaliação do estado/ potencial ecológico revela que 42,0% da área das massasdeáguasuperficiais, em2015, apresentavam uma classificação de “Bom ou superior”. Ao nível das NUTS III destacou-se, pela positiva, a região do Algarve, com 77,8% da área das massas de água com qualidade “Bom ou superior”, e as regiões do Alto Tâmega (73,4%) e Alto Minho (67,2%); pela negativa, destacaram-se as regiões do Oeste, da Lezíria do Tejo e da Área Metropolitana de Lisboa com, respetivamente, 4,5%, 5,8%e8,7%daáreadas massas de água com esta classificação. Ao nível das NUTS II destacou-se, pela positiva, a região do Algarve, com 54,5% da área das massas de água com qualidade “Bom” e, pela negativa, as regiões do Alentejo (21,1%) e Norte (28,7%). Destacou-se também a grande percentagem de “Desconhecido” a nível do Continente (64,9%). It stands out also the great percentage of “Unknown” at the Mainland level (64.9%).
