Proporção de pessoas que vivem em agregados familiares com um rendimento inferior a 50% do rendimento mediano, por sexo, grupo etário e tipo de limitação Para além da taxa de risco de pobreza definida no âmbito da UE, que corresponde à proporção de pessoas que vivem em agregados familiares com um rendimento monetário líquido por adulto equivalente inferior a60%damedianadadistribuição desses rendimentos, é possível obter indicadores complementares que permitem aferir sobre a dispersão da distribuição em torno da linha de pobreza. Um dos indicadores habitualmente calculados é a proporção de pessoas que vivem em agregados familiares com um rendimento monetário líquido por adulto equivalente inferior a 50% da mediana da distribuição desses rendimentos que, em 2017, correspondiaa10,8%dapopulação residente, inferior em 6,5 p.p. à proporção de residentes em risco de pobreza. Em 2010, existiam 18,0% de pessoas em risco de pobreza e a diferença percentual para o indicador relativo a 50% da mediana (11,1%) era de 6,9 p.p. No período em análise, esta diferença percentual registou um valor mínimo de 5,7 p.p. em 2013e2014, anos emque se registouumaumentoda concentração em torno da linha de pobreza. In addition to the at-risk-of-poverty rate defined in the EU, which corresponds to the proportion of persons living in households with an equivalent net monetary income below 60% of the median of the distribution of those incomes, it is possible to obtain complementary indicators about the dispersion of the distribution around the poverty threshold. One of those indicators usually calculated is the proportion of persons living in households with an equivalent net monetary income below 50% of the median of the distribution of those incomes, which in 2017 corresponded to 10.8% of the resident population, 6.5 pp less than the proportion of residents at-risk-of-poverty. In 2010, 18.0% of residents were at-risk-of-poverty and the percentage difference to the indicator based on the 50% of the median (11.1%) was 6.9 pp. In the period under review, this percentage difference recorded a minimum of 5.7 pp in 2013 and 2014, when there was an increase in concentration around the poverty threshold.
