Nível médio anual de partículas inaláveis (ex: com diâmetro inferior a 2,5 µm e 10 µm) nas cidades (população ponderada)” é avaliado nacionalmente pelo indicador proxy “Concentração média anual de partículas PM2,5 e PM10”. As partículas inaláveis constituem um dos poluentes atmosféricosmaisgravesemtermosdesaúdepública. A exposição diária das pessoas a este poluente, sobretudonascidades, determinouoestabelecimento do Valor Limite (VL) anual de partículas suspensas com um diâmetro aerodinâmico inferior ou igual a 10 microns (PM10) em40μg/m 3 . Para as partículasmais finas (PM2,5, partículas inaláveiscomdiâmetro inferior a2,5µm) foi definidoumvalor deconcentraçãomédia anual inferior ao valor limite de 25 μg/m 3 . The indicator “11.6.2. Annual mean levels of fine particulate matter (e.g. PM2.5 and PM10) in cities (population weighted)” is evaluated nationally by the proxy indicator “Annual average concentration of PM2,5and PM10 particles”. Inhalable particulates are one of the most serious air pollutants in terms of public health. The daily exposure of people to this pollutant, especially in cities, has led to the establishment of the annual limit value of particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 10 microns (PM10) in 40 μg /m 3 . For the finer particulates (PM2.5, inhalable particulates with a diameter of less than 2.5 μm) 25 μg /m 3 was defined as limit value. Indicator 11.6.2.
