Total das receitas fiscais em percentagem do PIB, por fonte Este indicador permite comparar a relação entre as quatro principais fontes de receita, bem como a “carga tributária” relativa (receita na forma de impostos) e “carga fiscal” (receita na forma de impostos mais contribuições sociais). Em Portugal, entre 2010 e 2018 verificou-se uma tendência ascendente da importância relativa das receitas fiscais no PIB. Em 2018, a carga fiscal foi 35,4%, o máximo do período em análise. The indicator allows comparing the relationship between the four main types of revenue, as well as the relative “tax burden” (revenue in the form of taxes) and “fiscal burden” (revenue in the form of taxes plus social contributions). In Portugal, between 2010 and 2018, there was a growth trend of the relative importance of government revenues in GDP. In 2018, the fiscal burden was 35.4%, the maximum of the period under review. Indirect taxes were the most relevant component in this period (15.5% in 2018). The EU28 also showed an upwards trend over the same period.
