Subscrições de Internet por banda larga de rede fixa por 100 habitantes, por velocidade de ligação O indicador 17.6.2 corresponde nacionalmente ao indicador “Acessos à Internet debanda largaem local fixo por 100 habitantes”. As subscrições de internet por banda larga de rede fixa continuaram a aumentar em Portugal, atingindo 34,7 por 100 habitantes em 2017 (+2,0 p.p. face a 2016). A fibra ótica passou a ser a tecnologia mais utilizada em 2017, com 13,4 subscrições por 100 habitantes (38,6%do total). Apesar de remetidapara2ª posição, a tecnologia por cabo registou um aumento em 2017 (+0,5), tendo sido a opção de 11,3 subscritores por cada 100 habitantes. A ADSL (Assymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) continuou a perder subscrições, tendo-se reduzido para 7,3 por 100 habitantes. The indicator 17.6.2 corresponds nationally to the indicator “Fixed broadband Internet accesses per 100 inhabitants”. Fixed Internet broadband subscriptions continued to increase in Portugal, attaining 34.7 per 100 inhabitants in 2017 (+2.0 pp comparing with 2016). Optical fibre became the most used technology in 2017, with 13.4 subscriptions per 100 inhabitants (38.6%of the total). Although in the second position, cable technology increased in 2017 (+0.5), being the choice of 11.3 subscribers per 100 inhabitants.
