Em Espanha, registaram-se valores idênticos no início e no final do período (um pouco acima de 9 toneladas por habitante), com alguma quebra nos anos 2009 e 2010; em Portugal, a trajetória foi quase sempre de crescimento, com um valor inicial de 6,2 toneladas por habitante e um valor final de 7,7 toneladas por habitante. In Spain, there were identical values at the beginning and at the end of the period (slightly above 9 tonnes per inhabitant), with declines in 2009 and 2010; in Portugal, there was almost always an upward trend, with an initial value of 6.2 tons per inhabitant and a final value of 7.7 tons per inhabitant.
