Portugal ficou muito aquém, com 41,5 mil toneladas, ou seja, 1,3% do total. POPULAÇÃO EMPREGADA NA AGRICULTURA, SILVICULTURA E PESCA À semelhança daquilo que sucedia na maior parte dos países da União Europeia, ambos os países ibéricos tinham em 2019 percentagens reduzidas da sua população empregada a trabalhar no setor “Agricultura, silvicultura e pescas”: 3,4% em Portugal e 4,0% em Espanha. A nível da UE28, os valores para este indicador variaram entre 0,6% no Luxemburgo e 19,1% na Roménia. EMPLOYMENT IN AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY AND FISHERIES As was the case in most EU countries, both Iberian countries had in 2019 reduced percentages of their employed population working in the Agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector: 3.4% in Portugal and 4.0% in Spain. At EU28 level, figures for this indicator ranged from 0.6% in Luxembourg to 19.1% in Romania. POBLACIÓN EMPLEADA EN AGRICULTURA, SILVICULTURA Y PESCA Como en la mayoría de los países de la Unión Europea, ambos países ibéricos tuvieron en 2019 porcentajes reducidos de su población ocupada trabajando en el sector "Agricultura, silvicultura y pesca": 3,4% en Portugal y 4,0% en España. En la UE28, las cifras de este indicador oscilan entre el 0,6% de Luxemburgo y el 19,1% de Rumanía.
