AIMS AND SCOPE

- The aim of REVSTAT Statistical Journal is to publish articles of high scientific content, developing Statistical Science focused on innovative theory, methods and applications in different areas of knowledge.

- Important survey/review contributing to Probability and Statistics advancement is also welcome in REVSTAT.

- A research paper, even if correct, can be rejected if for example, it only presents straightforward special cases of previously published work or it has a low percentage of unique content after being screened for plagiarized content by journal editors.

- REVSTAT is an Open Access peer reviewed journal that is quarterly published, in English, by Statistics Portugal.
