The year-on-year rate of change for unprocessed food products rose to 8.4% (5.5 p.p. higher than the previous month) and -9.1% for energy products (-3.7% in March), reflecting reductions in fuel and electricity prices- The core inflation index, which excludes energy and unprocessed food products components, was -0.1% (0.1 percentage points (p.p.) lower than in March). Concerning the monthly variation, the CPI increased by 0.6% (in March, the month-on-month rate of change was 1.4%).
