This workshop is organised by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) and will take place on 15 October 2014 back to back with the EU-SILC conference.

The workshop will be kindly hosted by Statistics Portugal in the premises of Banco de Portugal.

The EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (“EU-SILC”) is undergoing a revision process to further improve its methodology and timeliness and allowing it to respond to new policy needs in the social domain.

This workshop is the first of a series of workshops aiming at exchanging knowledge and best practices among national statistical authorities in view of EU-SILC revision.
