Summary
According to the first estimate for 2011 on Economic Accounts for Agriculture (EAA), the Income from the Agricultural Activity, per annual working unit, should decrease, in real terms, 10.7%. A decrease of 13.6% in Factor Income is forecasted, as a consequence of a decline on both “Other Subsidies on Production” (-18.2%) and Gross Value Added (GVA) in agriculture (-10.2%). The decrease of GVA is the result of a reduction on Production ( 0.6%) and an increase of Intermediate Consumption (+5.3%), in nominal terms.
