Services turnover index, in nominal terms and adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, presented a year-on-year rate of change of 2.2%, down by 3.2 percentage points (p.p.) from the rate observed in March 2024.

The monthly rate of change of the total index was -4.1% in April (3.0% in the previous period).

The indices of employment, wages and salaries and number of hours worked adjusted for calendar effects presented year-on-year rates of change of 4.4 %, 10.4% and 0.9%, respectively (compared to 4.9%, 13.1% and 0.4% in March).
