Summary
In October 2008 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices registered a year-on-year growth rate of -0.8% (-0.6% in September). Employment and wages and salaries presented year-on-year growth rates of 1.6% and 9.3%, respectively. The year-on-year growth rate of the number of hours worked, adjusted for working days, was 1.9%.
