Industrial Production year-on-year change rate was 10.4%, in June (26.6% in May). Excluding the Energy grouping, the rate was 9.7% (28.5% in previous month). Manufacturing Industry year-on-year change rate was 10.3% (31.4% in May). These results continue to be influenced by a base effect, given that the comparison focuses on months heavily affected by the pandemic, with a year-on-year decrease of 14.8% in June 2020. Note that in June 2021 the index was 5.9 percentage points lower than June 2019. The monthly change rate of the total index was -2.5% (-4.8% in previous month).

In the second quarter of 2021 the aggregate index increased 24.1% in year-on-year terms (in the first quarter this change rate was -1.1%), and a chain rate of 3.3%.
