In December, construction costs for new residential buildings are estimated to have increased by 6.8% on a year-on-year basis, 1.5 percentage points (p.p.) less than in the previous month. The price of materials and labor costs rose 8.0% and 5.1%, respectively.
In 2021 the construction costs for new residential buildings presented a medium variation of 5.7%, 3.6 p.p. higher than in 2020.
