A misprint has been detected in this Press Release, in the year-on-year rate of change in tourist travel by residents. Where it reads 6.6%, it should read 16.1%. All the other data are correct. (Statistics Portugal, 01-07-2005). In the first quarter of 2005, tourist travel by residents rose by 6.6% from the same period in the previous year. Most trips occurred in March (40.4%). Demand was higher for private tourism accommodation, with 66.1% of total overnight stays by residents.
