The interest rate on housing loans as a whole was set at 3.724% in February, declining by 0.025 percentage point (p.p.) from January. The rate on contracts signed over the last 3 months also posted a monthly decline, standing at 3.411%. The average value of principal outstanding per contract indicated a monthly rise of €539, and loan repayments attained €271, remaining stable from January.
