Summary
In the first quarter of 2007, 48,3% of portuguese households had access to a computer at home and 39,6% to the Internet. From the universe of household with Internet connection, 76,8% had access trough broadband. Between individuals aged 16 to 74 years old, the computer was used by 45,8% and the Internet by 39,6%.
