Retail trade turnover index, seasonally adjusted at constant prices, registered in December 2009 a year-on-year change rate of 1.7%, up by 4.0 percentage points from November. In the 4th quarter 2009, the year-on-year rate of change stood at -0.7%, comparing with -1.3% in the previous quarter. Employment, wages and salaries and the number of hours worked adjusted for working days presented year-on-year growth rates of -2.5%, -3.4% and -2.4%, respectively.
