In June 2010, hotel activity registered 3.5 million overnight stays, accounting for a year-on-year growth of 2.3%, compared with June 2009. For this result both residents (-4.6%) and non residents (-1.1%) contributed with a noticeable negative evolution of the internal market after three consecutive months of positive results.
Total income from hotel activity reached 169.5 million Euros and income from hotel occupancy 114.5 million Euros, accounting for slight increases of 0.2% and 0.6%, respectively.
