In April 2010, hotel activity registered 3 million overnight stays, accounting for a year-on-year decrease of 5%, compared with April 2009. For these results non residents contributed mainly with a downturn of 9.3%, while residents rose 3.9%.
Total income from hotel activity reached 138.9 million Euros and income from hotel occupancy 96.6 million Euros, both corresponding to decreases of 4.9% and 1.3%, respectively.
