[ About ]

The 16th Workshop on Labour Force Survey Methodology is hosted by Statistics Portugal and will take place on the 25 and 26 of May 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. The Workshop is expected to last two days. The Workshop venue will be in Statistics Portugal Head Office. All sessions will take place in the Conference Room (Great Hall) on the first floor.

The 2023 LFS Workshop closes the fourth cycle of LFS workshops and is dedicated to the theme Output.

The production and dissemination of high-quality relevant statistics is at the core of official statistical production. Assessing the relevance of the results produced often involves navigating between maintaining cross-time and cross-country data comparability and capturing emergent phenomena to better understand labour market dynamics, while maintaining the high reliability and quality standards of the outputs produced based on LFS data.
