In the first half of this year, an extension of the CPLP statistical
training programme was approved until 2017. This extension
aims to carry out actions that had been postponed and to address
new priority needs identified during the previous three phases
of the programme. The following projects are considered: (1)
Institutional Support (Legislation and Classifications, Concepts
and Nomenclatures), (2) Geoinformation, (3) CPI and Short-term
Indicators and (4) Coordination. In this context, the following
actions were carried out:
Between March and April 2016, four classifications were
edited within the Project of
Classifications, Concepts
and Nomenclature
: two of them in cooperation with
NSI Angola (revisions of the Classifications of Economic
Activities (CAE) and of Professions) and the other two with
NSI Guinea-Bissau (revision of CAE and of the National
Classification of Goods and Services).
Within the context of the
Legislation Project
, two study
visits were held, in June, fromNSI of São Tomé and Príncipe
and NSI of Mozambique.

Training Programme for the National Statistical Systems of the Portuguese-
speaking African Countries and Timor-Leste - Extension (2016/2017)
No primeiro semestre deste ano foi aprovada a extensão, até 2017, do programa de capacitação estatística da CPLP,
iniciado em 2012. Esta prorrogação teve como objetivo realizar ações que tinham sido adiadas, bem como novas
ações identificadas como prioritárias durante as três anteriores fases do Programa. Estão considerados os seguintes
projetos: (1) Apoio Institucional (Legislação e Classificações, Conceitos e Nomenclaturas), (2) Geoinformação, (3) IPC e
Indicadores de curto-prazo e (4) Coordenação. Neste contexto realizaram-se as seguintes ações:
Entre março e abril de 2016, foram editadas quatro publicações no âmbito do Projeto de
Classificações,
Conceitos e Nomenclaturas
: duas com Angola (revisões das Classificações de Atividades Económicas (CAE) e
de Profissões) e duas com a Guiné-Bissau (revisão da CAE e da Classificação Nacional de Bens e Serviços).
No âmbito do
Projeto de Legislação
realizaram-se, em junho, duas visitas de trabalho dos INEs de S. Tomé e
Príncipe e de Moçambique.
